According to reports, Hyundai Motor Co. has recently announced in a press release that the company’s monthly sales increased to 70,000 cars in September in China, the world’s most populous market.
Meanwhile, the company has sold around 73,122 vehicles in September this year as compared to 60,828 units in August this year.
However, this was the first tome when Hyundai Motor’s monthly sales were hit 70,000 cars in the country.
During the period of January to September this year, car sales reached 510,500 vehicles in the country.
The statement was released by the company’s spokesperson.
He also added that sales would hit the mark of 670,000 units this year.
In a statement released by the company, the hike in car sale is largely due to the launch of new models in the Chinese auto market, like the New Verna and the ix35, which attract young Chinese car buyers.
Further, the New Verna sold a total of 9,776 units in the last month, in the gap of just one mother after its launch in Chinese market, showing signs of becoming a steady seller for Hyundai Motor along with the Yuedong and the Elantra.
