Dog Must Undergo Vet Exam Before Winning Dog Show

BBC documentary claimed dogs bred for show were suffering a high degree of genetics illness.
Mortuaries seeks to be ‘production-line abattoirs’

The numbers of post-mortem examinations are unjustifiably high which turned mortuaries into ‘production-line abattoirs’.
However, some post mortems are essential for investigation of possible crimes, but the rate could be reduced by 60% if pathologists adopt the method of detailed external examination pioneered in Tayside.
Taiwan has second-lowest birthrate in the world

In the year 2009, the birthrate in the country declined to an average of 1.03 births per woman.
However, the Ministry of the Interior has announced that the rate was 3.09 births per women in 1976.
Meanwhile, the ministry has said that the country’s low birthrate was due to fewer marriages, people getting married later and the growing use of birth control.
Health Insurance rate fixed at 5.17 percent

The administration had said that the national health insurance premium rate would be increased from the present 4.55 percent to 5.17 percent.
While talking to reporters, Premier Wu Den-yin said, “The government will subsidize people with lower incomes. The government would promote more cost saving measures.”
